It is almost certain that at one point or another you have watched at least a portion of a celebrity wedding. They are featured often on MTV, not too long ago the wedding of Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro was featured. It was magnificent and every aspect of that event was nothing short of spectacular. Carmen’s wedding gown was gorgeous and looked especially beautiful as the red rose petals seemed to just fall from the sky. You may wonder who exactly is it that comes up with all of these ideas to create the perfect ambiance and the answer to that question is wedding planners. Although through the years the average person might see something in a magazine that catches their eye or maybe they even attended a bridal show and caught a few more ideas, but celebrities do not have average weddings. Even the most intimate and personal celebrity wedding will be anything but average. Again, this is because they utilize wedding planners.

Probably one of the most unique but memorable weddings was that of Brittney Spears and Kevin Federline. After the vows were complete both Brittney and Kevin’s wedding party changed into designer sweats by Juicy Couture. The girls wore pink sweats that sported the word "The Maids" on the back and the guys said "Pimps." Even Brittney decided that one dress wasn’t enough for her wedding day so she got two, the traditional yet exquisite strapless gown for her exchange of vows and then a lace mini dress for the reception.

The flowers, the food, the shoes, the jewelry, the invitations, and even the pre wedding preparations were all taken care of by the wedding planner. Many celebrities become overwhelmed with their wedding plans and quite often it is because they have more heat on them because of their place in the spotlight. The slightest flaw could be the center of media attention for months. It would be certain to be the brunt of at least a few of David Letterman’s late night jokes and might even appear on a Saturday Night Live episode. This is why there is no room for error when it comes to celebrity nuptials. It’s no wonder that sometimes during wedding plans some couples might just take off and elope.

Never forget the power of the paparazzi either because sometimes mock weddings have to be staged to throw of paparazzi, some even goes as far as to hire decoys. Celebrity wedding planners know all too well about this type of necessary trickery. They know every detail when it comes to pulling off the perfect wedding because they are experts in weddings. If you count how many weddings the average person attends in a lifetime, it will not compare to that of a wedding planner who deals with weddings, vendors, caterers, and cake makers on a daily basis. Look at it this way, if your car breaks down you would take it to a specialist to get it fixed. Sure you might be able to tackle it yourself if you were to read up on it or maybe watch someone else do it but the frustration involved would not be worth the agony and you would have just been better off to take it to someone who knows what they are doing in the first place. It is the exact same thing with wedding planners. Point taken?

If you have decided that you want you’re wedding abroad then there will be a whole new set of rules to follow. You are definitely going to want somebody on your side that knows the ropes because the licensing is different and often traditions are different too. When choosing a wedding abroad you should be well advised in advance that you will not save any money at all by trying to plan this all by yourself. You have to hire someone who is familiar with international wedding laws, regulations, and customs. Some countries will not recognize or even allow civil ceremonies and then if you are not a follower of their religion you might encounter difficulties there too.

The main reason that couples hire wedding planners especially for international venues is because of the immense stress involved in organizing and planning a wedding. You need to remember that even if you are a control freak, as most brides tend to be, you have to relinquish control and let the planner do her job. If you hire a reputable agency or use one that was referred by word of mouth, you should be just fine. A lot of times it is recommended that the couple attend a few different weddings to see what type of style the planner has.

While you are trying to manage a full time job, your personal life, and plans for your wedding the best day of your life seems to turn into something that you can not wait until it is over. That should never be the case. Using an international wedding planner ensures that all of your preparations are being covered while you continue on with your life.

Imagine a stress free wedding. Wedding planners that are making all of the essential plans for your wedding abroad are not planning on spending your money frivolously as they have already mastered negotiation tips and actually will save you money and they have connections worldwide too. Of course this isn’t a time when you want to scrimp on money but on the other hand why throw money away foolishly either?

If you tried to order a wedding cake at the exact location as your wedding planner it is a guarantee that she will pay less for that same cake then you did. Did you know that by making just a few minor adjustments in regards to the date or time of your wedding can save you a lot of money? Of course you didn’t but your wedding planner would have known that. Many times not only can your wedding planner save you money but also situations that could have been unpleasant. You would never have known that there was the potential for an unpleasant encounter but your wedding planner will because that is what they specialize in. Most brides learn how they could have had the perfect wedding after their wedding is over. Of course then it is too late. This is why especially when planning a wedding abroad you should never attempt to do so without a planner. In the end it is sure to be a potential nightmare if you do.
